VOLCA - NEW FOOTWEAR BRAND

Volca was developed from research based on the minimalistic and experimental beginning of electronic music and inspired by the artistic scene that emerged from there, by those who are now recorded for its audacity and creativity.

The use of graphic contrasts and color blocks in grey scales, report an urban environment - where the user fits - that mixes with unfinished leathers that will record the story of their journey.

The research focused on the relationship between the cosmos, music and mathematics, that collided with details related to sound waves, the atmosphere and the propagation of sound through lines and similar cuts to the forms generated by these.
Contrasts of textures are presented, using soft suede and soft nappa, matte finish and gummy touch, ranging from velvety textures, smooth, texturized, wool felts and rubberized, conferring dimension to the product.
The use of graphic contrasts and color blocks in grey scales, report an urban environment - where the user fits - that mixes with unfinished leathers that will record the story of their journey. The black, white and grey, define a palette of refined and minimalist colors where sky blue contrasts.

Record of the collection:
E2E4, recorded in 1981 by a legend of Krautrock, Manuel Gottsching, was the record that dominated the turntable of our studio during the design and development of the collection. The connections between the classical minimalism, electronic instruments and experimental rock
were the basis for this album became the greatest inspiration to the pioneers of electronic dance music.
With a drum machine, a sequencer, a synthesizer and his diabolic guitar, Manuel built a complex sound mesh of moving texturized layers that really inspired the mindset for our first collection, where nothing seems to happen, but where everything that happens is essential.
