Ambush is undoubtedly one of brands we've been carrying the longest, ever since we started back in 2009. Originally focused solely on jewelry, the Tokyo-based label imbued its creations with a mix of pop art and distinct Japanese aesthetic. Its unique approach earned them worldwide recognition, with the collections evolving to incorporate unisex garments besides jewelry and accessories. On top of several awards, founders Verbal and Yoon have been named by Business of Fashion as two of the top 500 individuals shaping the global fashion industry, a much deserved recognition that highlights their successful journey. Additionally, Yoon recently joined Dior Men as Director of Jewelry, proof yet again of her amazing talent.
For AW19, Wrong Weather is debuting Ambush's clothing line, thus providing a more complete look into the brand's universe and aesthetic. The collection is inspired by the movie "The Man Who Fell to Earth", portraying a range of futuristic and technical references that contrast with the natural raw materials used, such as cotton and wool. The result is a vibrant and bold assortment of pieces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional, along with a wide range of accessories that include over-the-shoulder bags, necklaces, shades and bracelets.
