Eastpak's rich military heritage provides fertile ground for London-based streetwear brand, Aries. The resulting collaboration is a capsule collection that pushes the boundaries of both luxury and functionality.
The brainchild of Sofia Prantera, Aries has transformed six iconic Eastpak shapes to create a capsule collection that exemplifies tactical streetwear. A continuation of the label's own collection, each item features a dynamic tie-dye camo print along with other utilitarian design elements such as military strapping, accessory loops, and a detachable jacquard lanyard bearing the typographic; "Are cults a danger?"
AVAILABLE OCTOBER 8TH, 2021
Aries is a non-gendered luxury streetwear brand designed in London and made in Italy. Aries was born out of an ongoing love of trash culture, outsider art and illustration, the collections also reflect its creative director's Central Saint Martin's training and fascination with garment dyeing, printing and a forensic approach to garment construction. The brand's cultural output is realized throughout the year with the release of self-published books, international art shows, experiences and collaborations which range from the cult and collectable to the esoteric, working with different artists and image makers who are an integral part of the Aries world and community.
Eastpak has been making bags that inspire people to move, since 1952. From a manufacturer of military-issue packs and duffels for the US army to a leading lifestyle brand for people who live, work and play in the city. Since 2000, Eastpak forms part of the VF portfolio of international brands. We ensure that the same commitment to quality that made Eastpak famous lives on in its range of stylish and functional backpacks, shoulder bags, travel gear, and accessories. Eastpak continues to evolve with its loyal fans, and it is still very much the brand that is "Built to Resist".
