VEJA launches the  AEGEAN PROJECT  with the aim of manufacturing and selling sneakers locally in Europe. Lace-up low-top leather sneakers by VEJA featuring a leather upper and rubber soles in natural color. Lace fastening. Like the O.T Leather, the Suede and E.U. sourced Leather undergoes a meticulous mechanical process that gives it a soft, fine, and supple feel. Tanned in Europe, it uses fewer dyes than our conventional leather. The tanneries supplying VEJA leathers are Gold certified by the Leather Working Group which promotes sustainable environmental practices.
