Inspired by Brazilian volleyball shoes from the 70s, VEJA reissues the Volley - its first model created in 2005. Suede is made from the lower part of cowhide, previously brushed to make it softer and more flexible. It comes from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul). It is used in Brazil, respecting REACH standards. Particular attention is paid to the use of water during the tanning process. The suede is also coated with PFC-free water-repellent oils (chemical compounds) to protect the sneakers from light rain.
